Chieftain Rollo Brennis

Chieftain of the Wold Folk

When the beloved chieftain of the Wold Folk (or “Woldarim” as they call themselves) was slain in a sudden raider attack, the Ealdermen urgently recalled his son, Rollo Brennus, to lead their people into war. Born in the forested borders of the Wold to a lineage granted its land for military service, Rollo had spent years as a sell‑sword with the Hearthguard, earning a fierce reputation as a warrior and an experienced leader. Returning not only as a battle‑hardened commander but also secretly married to the Justicar of the Kingsmen, he brought both potential alliance and suspicion to the tribes. Though wary of the political implications of his union and the coming war, the Ealdermen ultimately accepted him—hoping his strategic prowess might defend their land swiftly and decisively, and spare the Wold from further bloodshed.
